ACCOMPONG, St. Elizabeth:STUDENTS OF Accompong Basic School benefited from a new school building, courtesy of Food For The Poor Jamaica, through a partnership with Food For The Poor Canada, Grand Jamaica Homecoming 2012, and the Raymond Chang Foundation.
The building was officially opened on Wednesday.
Andrew Mahfood, chairman of Food For The Poor Jamaica, said the new building, which was constructed to house the 37 students now registered at the school, has three classrooms, which can be divided to form additional classrooms, and can accommodate up to 100 students. Read more…
